On July 3, 2014, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the construction of the Air Products Corporation plant in the Novoalexandrovsky Industrial Park (Azovsky District). The ceremony was attended by Rostov Region Vice-Governor Sergey Gorban and Air Products Russia CEO Robert Mills.
Air Products Corporation is one of the world's top four industrial gas producers. The new plant in the Rostov Region will be its fifth enterprise in Russia. The plant's products - liquefied and bottled gases - are intended for the needs of the metallurgical, glass, food and chemical industries. The investment project in the Novoalexandrovsky Industrial Park is estimated at 30 million dollars. The plant is scheduled to be launched in 2015. The products will be supplied to the Rostov Region and neighboring regions.
The head of the modxGroup company, Konstantin Mauer, was invited to the ceremonial laying of the first stone in the construction of the plant. Together with the MauerGroup company, the AirProducts corporation was able to successfully resolve a number of issues at the initial stage of the project, which allowed Air Products to begin construction of the plant in the Rostov Region.
We are glad that the interaction between MauerGroup and Air Products contributed to the localization of this project and are confident in the success of this enterprise. We really hope that the experience of successful cooperation will become a guarantee of joint plans for future projects of the Air Products company.
