With the support of the Rostov Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry and on the initiative of the Saxony Economic Promotion Department (WFS), the Russian-German Technology Forum "Innovative Technologies for Modernization and Increasing Production Efficiency" was held. It was held on 08.10.2014 in the Don-Plaza Congress Hotel as part of the official visit of the Saxony Economic Promotion Department delegation and representatives of Saxon enterprises to the Rostov Region from 06.10.2014 to 10.10.2014.
MauerGroup was represented in the forum by Mr. Alexey Miroshnikov, Head of the Foreign Economic Activity Department. Mr. Miroshnikov established contacts and held talks with many representatives of the Saxon delegation, and first of all with the head of the delegation, Mr. Manfred Liebl.
The forum is focused on bilateral cooperation and the interests of Russian entrepreneurs in the field of mechanical engineering. According to the representative of the Saxony Economic Promotion Department (WFS), Dr. Manfred Liebl, Saxony is a center of the automotive industry, producing BMW, Volkswagen and Porsche cars; up to 600 thousand cars roll off the Saxony factories every year.
The enterprises of this region of Germany have long and successfully cooperated with the subjects of the Russian Federation where the automotive industry is developed (St. Petersburg, Kaluga), but now they are striving to study in more detail the potential for cooperation with other regions of Russia - primarily with those where there is strong mechanical engineering. Therefore, they were interested in the Rostov Region.
During negotiations with representatives of the German delegation, Alexey Miroshnikov was able to talk about the experience of supporting investment projects in the South of Russia and about the services provided by MauerGroup to foreign companies.
