On September 7, 2015, the Lebanese-Russian Business Forum was held in Rostov-on-Don with the assistance of the Russian-Arab Business Council and the Rostov Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Lebanese delegation included the largest producers of food products and consumer goods from Lebanon and Saudi Arabia interested in establishing cooperation with Rostov partners.
The event was attended by the President of the Rostov Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nikolay Prisyazhnyuk, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Rostov Region Vladislav Yesin, Director of the Russian-Arab Business Council Vladislav Lutsenko and others.
Olga Vakhtina, a specialist from the Department of Foreign Economic Activity, participated in the business forum from MauerGroup.
During the forum, businessmen from Lebanon and Saudi Arabia presented their companies and talked about the products they were ready to offer in the South of Russia.
The most important achievement of the business forum was the ceremonial signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the President of the Rostov Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nikolay Prisyazhnyuk and the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tripoli and Northern Lebanon Mr. Tawfik Daboussi. This agreement is an important step towards developing cooperation between entrepreneurs of the Rostov Region and the business community of Lebanon.
B2B (bilateral) negotiations between Rostov and Lebanese entrepreneurs were also organized as part of the business program.
During her participation in the business forum, the representative of MauerGroup held negotiations with Lebanese entrepreneurs, as well as with the director of the Russian-Arab Business Council (RABC) Vladislav Lutsenko, during which interest was expressed in the services offered by MauerGroup.
